Atlanta, GA – July 29, 2006 –
After what must have seemed like an excruciatingly long hiatus, Florida drifters welcomed DGTrials with open arms to their first ever Orlando event at the Orange County Convention Center on July 29th. Centrally located in Orlando close to Universal Studios and Disney World, OCCC provides acres of open area for drivers to practice.
Some 40+ drivers were in attendance for the World Cup-inspired “Driftmasters United” event, and all of them left with big smiles on their faces. Why? Because DGTrials provides some of the most track time available for your dollar, not to mention quality driver training and instruction from talented and notable drifters.
None of this would be possible, however, without an already-talented and behaved group of drivers. “I was quite impressed with the skill level of the Florida drivers, “said Yancey Paslay, DGTrials' safety steward for the day. “This is a very professional group of drivers, and we are glad to provide for them. I guess DGTrials has done a good job here!"
“OCCC is an excellent and well-groomed venue, and we are looking forward to returning,” said Mike Ranlet, DGTrials regional Vice President. Negotiations with OCCC continue, and interested drivers should stay tuned to DGTrials' website ( www.DGTrials.com
) for future dates.
